Welcome to Hook-with-Warsash C.E. Academy’s website. Our website is designed to provide a taste of what our school is about. It is intended to give you information about the education provided by the school and the values and ethos that guide us.
Our school vision gives equal value to developing each child academically, socially and emotionally. We really want our pupils to ‘Let Their Light Shine’ as our motto suggests. We work together as a school community to ensure and celebrate success with all of our children in all sorts of areas. We strive to ensure our pupils develop in self confidence and self esteem and develop in to active and informed citizens who are fully equipped with the skills needed to live in the fast changing society of the 21st century and modern Britain.
Our staff are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards are met in the school and as a result our pupils achieve extremely well in national tests in English and maths. It is very important to us that all of our children are secondary ready. Alongside this we ensure pupils in our school gain a wide range of experiences in many areas including music and sport. Hook-with-Warsash staff provide a large number of extra-curricular activities which all of our pupils enjoy.
What impresses me most when I walk around the school is the mutual respect that exists between adults and children, and the commitment to and the enjoyment of learning.
