PLEASE NOTE: Following a decision of the Schools Adjudicator (VAR2277 and VAR2283), the above admission policies (2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25) were revised on 7 February 2023, to give effect to that decision. Consequently, the wording for oversubscription criterion 2 has been revised, further information relating to permanent residency has been provided and wording regarding attending worship at a church has also been revised.

How to apply for a place at Hook with Warsash C of E Academy for entry to year R in September 2024:

Applications can be made from 1st November 2023.

The National closing date for applications is 15th January 2024 (by midnight).

Hampshire parents must apply online via Hampshire County Council.

Notifications to parents offering a primary school place will be sent by the County Council on Monday 16th April 2024.

Parents will be sent correspondence from Hampshire County Council telling them the name of the school at which their child has been allocated a place. Individual schools will not be able to inform parents of the outcome of their application. 

We will be holding open afternoons for prospective Year R parents on Wednesday 19th October and Thursday 3rd November, commencing at 1.45pm. Alongside this the Headteacher is very happy to carry out individual tours with prospective parents.  Please contact the school office on 01489 572393 if you would like to arrange a visit. 

If you are successful in securing a place for your child at Hook with Warsash C of E Academy, we will contact you again at the beginning of the Summer term to make further arrangements for September.

How to apply for Secondary School for Entry to Year 7 in September 2024:

Applications can be made from 11 September 2023.

The National closing date for applications is 31st October 2023 (by midnight).

Parents must apply online via Hampshire County Council.

Notifications to parents offering a secondary school place will be sent by the County Council on 1st March 2024

Please contact individual secondary schools for details of there open evenings.
