Having previously been a parent and regular helper at the school whilst my daughter was there, I experienced first-hand the fantastic work carried out by the staff and governors so I was really excited to have the opportunity to become further involved, with my appointment as Company Secretary in 2020. I then also took on the role of Clerk to the Governors in 2022.

My family and I have lived in Warsash and the surrounding area since 2006 and my business background has been in the commercial insurance industry where I worked for 25 years, primarily in managerial and project management roles.

In 2018 I made the decision to retrain and am now an England Athletics qualified running coach with an Advanced Diploma in Nutrition. I am also Vice-Chair of a local running club where I coach regular weekly sessions and can often be seen at races either running or supporting fellow runners.  It goes without saying that I am passionate about health and fitness and I particularly love encouraging others to become and remain active. My family and I really enjoy living in Warsash and can be regularly spotted walking the local paths with our dog, a very loyal but very vocal, Miniature Schnauzer.
