Kjirste Coltham

I moved to Warsash, from Whiteley, in 2023 and I live here with my husband, Rhys. I’m really excited to join the Board of Governors of Hook with Warsash C of E Academy, having previously enjoyed volunteering with local primary schools as a reading partner.

 

I embarked on what was to become a career in Technology when I left university (when we were all frantically preparing for the millennium bug!). Starting as a programmer and working in a wide variety of roles since then, including project management, technology support, third party management and transformation, I am currently the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Motor Insurers’ Bureau where I am responsible for all things technology, data, security and change. I am very keen that the benefits of technology can be realised, and that people are educated on the risks associated with its use, while keeping everyone and everything involved as safe and secure as possible.
