I live locally in Warsash with my husband and two children. Both of my children now attend the school and I was elected as Parent Governor in October 2025.

Until July 2024, I was a primary teacher and as an ex-service family, we moved around the country for my husband’s work, giving me and opportunity to work in a range of schools - each with their own unique identity and journey that I have been a part of. These experiences allowed me to develop a clear understanding of what quality teaching and learning looks like and a strong recognition of the many challenges schools face. I have remained in Education but in a different capacity - I now work as a Skills & Development Coach with apprentices who are studying to become chartered accountants.

My experiences as both a teacher and a parent equip me with a set of skills which I hope will support the governing body in their decision making and have a positive impact on the community of Hook-with-Warsash CE Academy.

Pecuniary and other interests: My step-brother's partner is a teacher at the school.
