Mr Paul Johnson
I graduated from the University of Essex in 2002 with a degree in law and subsequently travelled around the world including several countries in South and Central America, Asia and Australasia. Upon my return I embarked on a career in the financial services industry which while challenging proved to be neither satisfying nor rewarding. I spent 2006 working in New Zealand and returned temporarily to financial services back in the UK in 2007. Looking for a change of career I began volunteering at Hook with Warsash and was accepted onto a Graduate Teacher Programme with them which I completed in 2011. Since then I taught in Year 4 for three years and are now teaching in Year 5. I am also subject leader in Computing.
I am a Staff Governor (teacher) elected by the members of the teaching staff of the Academy and my term ends on 28 February 2018.
I am a member of the Sites & Buildings Committee.
Pecuniary and other interests: none
